Corrections

This is the most useful reason to write, and it gets answered first. If something here is wrong — a figure, a date, a rule described inaccurately, a link to a source that does not say what the sentence claims — say so and point at it. You do not need to be polite about it and you do not need to be certain; a reader who suspects something is off is worth more than one who assumes it is fine.

Corrections are handled the way the About page sets out: where something is wrong rather than merely old, the fix says what changed instead of being edited in silently. Published index editions are never rewritten at all — a correction ships as a new edition, so the record of what was measured, and when, survives being wrong.

The methodology

The method is published including the parts that weaken it, which is only worth doing if people actually argue with it. If the prompt set looks skewed, if the scoring formula flatters somebody, or if a limitation is missing from the list of limitations, that is a message worth sending.

Data requests

Requests about personal data go to the same address and are answered within one month. The privacy page covers what is and is not processed, which in almost every case is nothing — the correspondence itself is the exception.

What will not get a reply

Three categories, listed so nobody spends time on them. None of this is personal; they are consequences of positions taken openly on the About page rather than preferences.

  • Paid links, sponsored posts and guest articles. Selling placements is a link scheme, the compliant labelled version removes the revenue that motivates it, and either way it would end the argument that an index can rank brands without being paid by them.
  • Broken-link and resource-page outreach. If you have genuinely found a broken link here, that is a correction and belongs above — send it and it gets fixed. A broken link used as an opening to request a placement is the thing being declined.
  • Press releases and launch announcements. This site does not publish news, for the reason given on the About page: every outlet rewrites the same release within the hour, so the duplication is total and the added value is nil. There is no distribution list to join.

Nothing is collected here

There is no form on this page, no newsletter, and no account, so nothing on this site asks you for a name or an address. If you write, your message and your reply-to address exist in a mailbox until the matter is dealt with, and you can ask for them to be deleted at any point.
